Missy Bon Bon, Your Cafe Haven in Cagayan De Oro

Missy Bon Bon is a home grown bread shop originating in Cagayan De Oro. It is actually a sister restaurant or company of Bigby’s which also originated in the place. At first, Missy Bon Bon was just an ordinary kiosk sprouting around in CDO since December 2009.

Years passed and it became one of the known pasalubong centers all around the Philippines. It has garnered the respect of many patrons in the bread and pastry industry due to its fresh, healthy and unique bread products.

Missy Bon Bon in Cagayan is not only known for their bread and pastries. They are also known for their own concoction of gelato. They are the home of delicious comfort food from cakes, pasta, and rice meals infused with European and Asian touch.

Traveling to CDO, one should pay homage by visiting their beautiful cafe in the heart of Cagayan De Oro’s Business district. It is a food destination that will complete your Cagayan De Oro experience.

How to Get there

Missy Bon Bon’s newest reopened branch near Limketkai Mall is easily accessible as it is closer to the malls of Cagayan De Oro. It is a five-minute brisk walk from the Limketkai mall and can be easily spotted because it is near Fully Booked.

How Much Will You Spend

Missy Bon Bon’s price range for one person would be an estimate of Php500-700 if you want to try the complete experience. The complete experience would include their home grown main dish, their famous cakes and a scoop of their gelato.

Their pasta dishes range around Php150-200. Their cakes range around Php80-130. Their gelato would vary depending on the flavor. I highly recommend their own concoction of pistachio ice cream. It is yet the best pistachio ice cream I have ever tasted.

The Voyager’s Experience

The interior of Missy Bon Bon at its simplicity is beautiful and relaxing. The color scheme is well thought of as it is calming, elegant and clean.

The place is also accessible and you can enjoy the fresh air with their al fresco. The taste of their gelato is an experience one should not let slip away.

The place is well planned as there is enough space for pasalubong center and enough space for the restaurant and the ice cream parlour.

I’ve tried some of their ice creams. Their black forest is not as commendable although they suggest that it is one of their best sellers. However, their pistachio is an explosion of dairy goodness. You should also try their beer ice cream as it has a strong alcoholic after taste.

Their signature cake is their rainbow cake. However, what I tried is another signature cake which is the brownie cheesecake as I’m a big fan of cheesecakes.

It is delicious but I’ve tasted better cheesecakes compared to what Missy Bon Bon offers. Their best seller for pasta is their carbonara pasta.

Missy Bon Bon is one of my favorite cafes in Cagayan De Oro as the ambience is warm and friendly. Their crew is ever attentive and always smiling.

Indeed, Cagayan De Oro is the City of Golden Friendship. Visit CDO and make sure to drop by at Missy Bon Bon.
