Fill your heart with happiness and your tummy with milk tea. And, if you are going to fill your tummy with milk tea, then swing by at Gensan’s Prosperitea Milk tea Creations.
Prosperitea is one of the newest flourishing cafes that adds life to the progressing and boisterous district of Purok Malakas. Residents of the area will now have a fix for their milk tea craving. With its beautiful minimalist design, you and your friends will definitely enjoy hanging out at Prosperitea.
The milk tea place opened last September 15, 2018, and has become the favorite hangout for milk tea lovers in General Santos City. Offering delicious milk tea such as all-time favorite – Hokkaido, Okinawa, and wintermelon milk tea, Prosperitea is now the new to-go-to place in Gensan.
They offer rock salt and cheese milk tea and their famous signature drinks. Don’t miss out on their cheesecake concoctions as it is one worth going back for. They offer eleven types of sinkers from the favorites (pudding, coffee jelly, tapioca) to the special ones (popping bobas, rock salt and cheese).
Prosperitea – Gensan is easily accessible as it is located in the main road going to Malakas Public Market. Visitors of Gensan who are looking forward to discovering a new brand of milk tea will not find the location hard to access because tricycle drivers are familiar with the place.
The cafe is located at Door 2, The Horizon Suites, Aparente Street, in Malakas, General Santos City. You can tell the driver to head to Ellis Suites (previous name of The Horizon Suites). Once you arrive, it’s not hard to spot the beautiful green door of Prosperitea.
The Place and Ambiance
Prosperitea Gensan is an elegant minimalist designed cafe with three-tone colors. Painted in white and decorated with green and yellow colors, it is indeed a design inviting prosperity not only for their customers but for the cafe itself.
The cafe, although, small is spacious and can cater an approximate twenty to thirty pax. It is well-lit that emphasizes the elegance due to the white walls. It is a relaxing place to be with on a Friday night with your friends or lover.
Prosperitea Milk Tea Creations is a destination worth going especially for the “milk tea bellies”.
The cafe offers budget friendly price, ranging from P70 to P150. They offer hot and cold teas, fruit teas, tea latte, the usual milk tea flavors, rock salt and cheese, and their signature drinks.
My all-time favorite is their earl grey milk tea. They offer their milk teas in two sizes – 16oz and 22oz. They also offer food for those who need some munches. Their food price range from P40 to P170. Prosperitea offers breadsticks, pasta, and some siomai.
Other than walk-in customers, they also deliver milk tea for those who are badly craving for some concoctions. At a minimum order worth P300, you can now have your order delivered at your doorsteps.

The Voyager’s Experience
Living near Malakas, it’s always been a dream to have a cafe close to where I live. It was absolutely a plus since it’s a milk tea cafe that’s closer to my home.
Prosperitea offers one of my favorite flavors that other milk tea places in Gensan don’t offer. I have a knack for rock salt and cheese milk tea and strawberry popping bobas. Unlike other milk tea cafes, also, I like how they offer new and unusual flavors such as their cheesecake and RSC selections.
Although, some flavors are not available as often, it actually is an opportunity to try new flavors that can become your new favorites. It allows you to go out of your comfort zone. It’s like the time I discovered I love Earl Grey Milk tea. I also like Prosperitea because their concoction is not too sweet and you can still taste the tea in it. It’s not sugar water, it’s an actual milk tea.
